'WHAT KIND OF ENGLISH IS THAT?!'

Hii :D Peace be with you :D

This week cuti sekolah kan.. Our kindy ada holiday camp, mainly for the full-day kids. Holiday camp ni boleh dikatakan minggu santai, cos most of the time we play play play and play :P Nothing much to be done. Just a little revision then games, then blahblablah.

Santai lah katakan.. So just now, when we were in the class making scrap books, I was sitting quietly at the corner while sharpening the color pencils. And the kids were quiet as well because they're too focused on it. It was so quiet and peaceful when suddenly a conversation between few kids started..

Javier: Elvis, are you using purple?
Elvis: No ley.. I'm using dark blue.
Tasha: What ley ley? What kind of English is that?!

Zap!! I was like;
Google's
Then I questioned myself; seriously, aku kat kindy ke sekarang?? Hahahah! Man, didn't expect that at all!! 5 years old tanya orang question macam tu?? Pengsaaaaaaannnnn.....

But at the same time, gumbira cos they know what kind of English they should use. Harharhar.. Now kena hati-hati, because sometimes terkeluar jugak 'LAH' and 'LO'. Pingsaannn kalau dia tanya, 'teacher, what kind of English is that? LO LO, LAH LAH!'. Hahaha..

Itu pun kalau berani :P

Love and peace,
Veeeeeeeee!! :D

  3. So cute! I also use 'la' when I speak to other Malaysians. Kira macam identiti gitu. Kadang-kadang terlepas juga 'la' bila cakap dengan Canadian. hais.

    1. Haha.. Rule #1 as a teacher here is no physical punishment. Nak pukul guna tangan pun tak boleh apa lagi guna rotan. Tapi kalau nak keluar masuk court boleh juga cuba rotan. Hewhew :P
